Opening Hours
The Surgery is open from Monday to Friday between 9am and 6pm. The medical team are available for consultation, by appointment, from 9:00am – 12:00pm and from 2:30pm – 5:00pm.
In order to reduce the waiting time for patients, all surgery consultations are by appointment only. Patients are requested to phone for an appointment before coming to the surgery. (Urgent patients will be given priority.) Every effort will be made to see patients at their appointed time. Urgent cases are always seen as soon as reasonably possible.
We offer an urgent care clinic specifically to deal with single urgent medical problems that need to be dealt with daily.
Patients are requested to inform reception if they are unable to keep an appointment so that others may be facilitated. Repeated missed appointments will result in a fee being charged.
CHECK IN
On arrival for your Doctor or Nurse appointment, you can conveniently check in using our automated check in kiosk just inside the sliding doors of the Primary Care Centre.
Location
Our Eircode is H65 KH93. The surgery primary care clinic is conveniently located on the very edge of Athenry town just 1km off the M6 motorway from Dublin and Galway. It is less than a five minute walk from the town centre and Athenry Train Station. Athenry Train Station is on the main line to Dublin and Limerick from Galway. On arrival, we have free parking within our clinic with parking assigned for disability access and have hooded spaces for bicycle parking at our main entrance.
