Ronan Casey
Practice Manager
Ronan joined the The Surgery in 2016 following 15 years general management experience mostly in retail. Ronan was previously the retail and services manager at Galway University Hospitals encompassing UHG and Merlin Park Hospital. Ronan obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Retail Management in 2016 and a Diploma in Business Management prior to that. Ronan also completed a Diploma in Practice Management run by the Irish College of General Practitioners (ICGP) in 2017. Over the past 10 years in general practice, Ronan has provided management and offered advice to other Medical Practices within the West of Ireland.
Marie Murphy
Administration & Accounts
Marie has been with the Surgery since October 1990. She plays a key role in maintaining our accounts and other administration duties.
Trish Kelly, Elaine Whelan, Emma Nicholson, Linda Martin and Anne Treacy
Administration
Trish, Elaine, Emma, Linda and Anne are all key members of the Surgery team. Their important administration duties ensure your overall experience is a pleasant and efficient one. They ensure our GPs are strongly supported to provide the best care to you. Between them they have a wealth of experience within general practice. Trish has worked with The Surgery since 1997. Elaine joined us in 2020, Emma and Linda more recently during 2025 and Anne is our newest addition in 2026.
