The surgery primary care clinic is conveniently located on the very edge of Athenry town just 1km off the M6 motorway from Dublin and Galway. It is less than a five minute walk from the town centre and Athenry Train Station. Athenry Train Station is on the main line to Dublin and Limerick from Galway. On arrival, we have free parking within our clinic with parking assigned for disability access and have hooded spaces for bicycle parking at our main entrance.
How To Get Here
Take the R446 out of Craughwell. Proceed for 2km and take right on road R347. Continue to Athenry and take 1st exit at the roundabout onto the R348. Take the first right toward prospect. Continue for about 100metres until road comes to Y junction. Take the right L3103 and continue for 100 metres. Take the first right and our clinic is 100 metres on the left.
Look for the R347 out of Tuam, follow this directly to Athenry. On entering Athenry town take the right for station road. Follow this around (train station should be on your left) until you get to a T junction. At this point take the right and immediately take the first left. Our clinic is 100 metres on the right.
Follow the N63 out of Roscommon until you get to Crossard. Take the R347 on the left and continue until you get to station road on your right. Follow this around (train station should be on your left) until you get to a T junction. At this point take the right and immediately take the first left. Our clinic is 100 metres on the right.
Follow M6 motorway and leave at Exit 17. Proceed to Athenry Roundabout. From Dublin, take 2nd exit and continue to next roundabout, take 1st exit and continue to next roundabout and take 2nd exit to R348. Take 1st left just before next roundabout. This road is called Prospect. Continue for about 100 metres until road comes to Y junction. Take the right L3103 and continue for 100 metres. Take the first right and our clinic is 100 metres on the left.
